Summer 2007 ![]() It was a wonderful summer when we met all of our friends and family and cosily shared this spaceous house. All found their own space and privacy while sharing wonderful evenings under the setting sun. Every day had a special theme ranging from kids games, swimming, castle tour, tree climbing (professional), long drawn out evenings and BBQ's, top cuisine and the unforgetable numurous village fetes. An unforgetable summer reunion. The Schrader Family
Impressions Summer 2005
Beautifully restored, this ancient but family-friendly house enjoys an absolutely stunning setting. It's spacious, bright, well-equipped and we couldn't have wished for a better location and 'home' for our family get-away. En Bosc offers a perfect combination of privacy and easy access to the many activities on offer in the area, including dining, shopping, sightseeing, hiking and swimming. As frequent 'villa-renters', we couldn't recommend this property more highly. Enjoy! The Auerbach family, Connecticut
Impressions Easter 2005
A house for all seasons: We enjoyed a great Easter break with our children and friends. The weather was perfect. There is a lot to discover in the villages; like old castles, fairs, markets, flea markets and musea. The children were never bored playing in the large forest and fields surrounding the house. We started on a tree hut and hope to complete it at our next visit. Ton & Margret
Impressions Winter 2004 We found Enbosc to be a very peaceful place to stay surrounded by magnificent countryside, yet all amenities were close by. The house was ideal for a large family group, the living space being very generous as were the bedrooms. Even in the middle of winter, we found the house to be warm and welcoming. The Spier Family Impressions Summer 2004
We spent a fabulous week in Enbosc with family and friends – all of us staying under one roof in the large, comfortable and traditional French country home, set amidst acres of sunflowers! What a week – one of relaxation in the home and of many adventures in the surrounding environs – from local markets and festivals, to cognac tasting, long runs and drives along beautiful country lanes. The aboveground pool was not only a refreshing delight, but also safe for our toddler. Just 45 minutes from Toulouse, but a world away, this is a vacation we hope to repeat in coming years! The River Family
We enjoyed our one week-stay at Enbosc very much. The magnificent positioning of the house at the top of hill, overlooking the Gascogne countryside allowed for many panoramic sunsets as well as a memorable thunder-spectacle.
Although the area offers quite a number of interesting things to visit. We spent most of the week in and around the house, finding the quiet surroundings most comfortable & relaxing. The kids loved pool, tree ladder and peeling sunflower seeds! The caretaker at Enbosc is very friendly and considerate and we have never before met one in France with such an appeal. The Maccreanor Family Impressions Summer 2003
The beautiful surroundings of this recently restored and incredibly comfortable house provides the calm and rest that one deserves when on holiday. Indeed, the 360’ view from the house, across fields overflowing with Sunflowers, is spectacular!
Enbosc offers all the comforts of home, and spices that with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. After a game of football, pétanque, or tree climbing and swimming, there is still the choice of a game of tennis or a tour of the French countryside. Besides the local markets displaying the best garlic in France, the region “Le Gers” offers a lot to be seen, to visit and to enjoy. Highy recommended! R. Meulemans What a splendid setting to celebrate a reunion of friends.
There is enough space for tranquility and excitement for games and reading , for long evenings, or early nights without one interfering with the other.
We found all we needed in the house: spacious rooms, lovely bedrooms with views, private shower and bath, well equipped kitchen, and the most gorgeous terrace to spend the day and night. Although the fireplaces are indeed impressive, it was really too hot this summer to light them. We only lit the BBQ! A lovely pool was set up for the essential cooling down.
The children enjoyed their own entertainment, either in the wide stretching garden with tree climbing, pétanque, football or ping-pong
The surroundings are superb, and invite you to explore the Gers' historical sites, forest walks, local musées and medieval castles: after all, it was here where the 100-year war was fought. We hope all future guests of Enbosc can have as good a time as our family had. The Davies Family
