Summer 2009

Summer 2009 What a beautiful part of France this is. Very nicely positioned on top of a hill, Enbosc has a great ambiance and feel. This home just oozes relaxing while taking in the great scenery over a glass of wine after a refreshing swim. The large property welcomes after dinner exploration, and the nearby (non-tourist: bonus!) French villages offer some lovely restaurants and local produce. The memories we share of our stay at Enbosc will be treasured!

“We had an unforgettable Summer stay, gathering with family and friends to celebrate a 50th birthday in true style. The setting and ambiance of the spacious house and the warm hospitality that it offers guests, are truly amazing. A great place to improvise, play and enjoy music! Without a doubt, we'll be back."

This place had it all. Space, peace, French charm, history, fabulous views and sunflowers all around the house. I'll be back with friends for my 18th!

June 2008 Enbosc

We could not have had a more perfect vacation! We feel so lucky to have won a week's stay at Enbosc in the charity fund-raising auction.

Spring and late Summer are just as beautiful in the Gers as the long sun-filled days of Summer. The setting of Enbosc is idyllic and the house is so spacious and comfortable. My daughter loves the garden and the pool and the neighbouring farms with their vegetable patches, fruit trees, dogs, cats, chicken and rabbits.

A wonderful reunion week shared with family and close friends in this truly spacious house and its large garden. With so many rooms and terraces, everyone was able to enjoy their own space and privacy throughout the stay, often sharing wonderful cosy evenings on the terrace in the glow of the magnificent setting sun.

Enbosc offers all conveniences of home, plus an array of local markets, historical sites, music festivals and fabulous village fetes to chose from. Great - we'll be back!

Impressions Winter 2006 Snow in midi-Pyrenees

This holiday home in the heart of Gascony is unbelievably only two and a half hours drive away from the thick snow-filled ski pistes of Piau-Engaly in the Midi-Pyrenees. We experienced blue skies and plenty of runs to chose from skiers and for snowboarders. There is also a great ski and snowboarding school. Highly recommend the house for a Winter stay as Enbosc was really warm and comfortable with its floor-heating.

Beautifully restored, this ancient but family-friendly house enjoys an absolutely stunning setting. It's spacious, bright, well-equipped and we couldn't have wished for a better location and 'home' for our family get-away. En Bosc offers a perfect combination of privacy and easy access to the many activities on offer in the area, including dining, shopping, sightseeing, hiking and swimming. As frequent 'villa-renters', we couldn't recommend this property more highly. Enjoy!

Impressions Easter 2005 Easter 2005

A house for all seasons: We enjoyed a great Easter break with our children and friends. The weather was perfect. There is a lot to discover in the villages; like old castles, fairs, markets, flea markets and musea. The children were never bored playing in the large forest and fields surrounding the house. We started on a tree hut and hope to complete it at our next visit.

Impressions Christmas 2004

We found Enbosc surrounded by magnificent countryside, to be a very peaceful place to stay yet all amenities were close by. The house was ideal for a large family group, the living space being very generous as were the bedrooms.

Even in the middle of winter, we found the house to be warm and welcoming.

Impressions Summer 2004 Spring 2005

We spent a fabulous week in Enbosc with family and friends – all of us staying under one roof in the large, comfortable and traditional French country home, set amidst acres of sunflowers!

What a week – one of relaxation in the home and of many adventures in the surrounding environs – from local markets and festivals, to cognac tasting, long runs and drives along beautiful country lanes. The aboveground pool was not only a refreshing delight, but also safe for our toddler.

Just 45 minutes from Toulouse, but a world away, this is a vacation we hope to repeat in coming years!

Summer 2004 We enjoyed our one week-stay at Enbosc very much. The magnificent positioning of the house at the top of hill, overlooking the Gascogne countryside allowed for many panoramic sunsets as well as a memorable thunder-spectacle.
Although the area offers quite a number of interesting things to visit. We spent most of the week in and around the house, finding the quiet surroundings most comfortable & relaxing.

The kids loved pool, tree ladder and peeling sunflower seeds!

The caretaker at Enbosc is very friendly and considerate and we have never before met one in France with such an appeal.

Impressions Summer 2003

Summer 2003 The beautiful surroundings of this recently restored and incredibly comfortable house provides the calm and rest that one deserves when on holiday. Indeed, the 360’ view from the house, across fields overflowing with Sunflowers, is spectacular!

Enbosc offers all the comforts of home, and spices that with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. After a game of football, pétanque, or tree climbing and swimming, there is still the choice of a game of tennis or a tour of the French countryside.

Besides the local markets displaying the best garlic in France, the region “Le Gers” offers a lot to be seen, to visit and to enjoy.

Highy recommended!

What a splendid setting to celebrate a reunion of friends.

walk in the woods There is enough space for tranquility and excitement for games and reading , for long evenings, or early nights without one interfering with the other.

We found all we needed in the house: spacious rooms, lovely bedrooms with views, private shower and bath, well equipped kitchen, and the most gorgeous terrace to spend the day and night. Although the fireplaces are indeed impressive, it was really too hot this summer to light them. We only lit the BBQ!

A lovely pool was set up for the essential cooling down.

old town, gers The children enjoyed their own entertainment, either in the wide stretching garden with tree climbing, pétanque, football or ping-pong

The surroundings are superb, and invite you to explore the Gers' historical sites, forest walks, local musées and medieval castles: after all, it was here where the 100-year war was fought.

We hope all future guests of Enbosc can have as good a time as our family had.
